Plearn oneness Social Enterprise Co., Ltd. evolved from the “Pleurn Natural Farming Learning Center,” founded by Chumphon Cabana Resort with the mission of fostering sustainable development for communities, society, and the environment.
Guided by the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, the organization empowers communities to become more self-reliant in food, energy, natural resources, health, and knowledge, creating greater stability and resilience in everyday life as well as during future global crises.
We connect local communities through networks of collaboration, learning, and mutual support, encouraging people to share resources, knowledge, and care for one another.
Our goal is to help build a stronger, more balanced, and sustainable society for future generations.
Sam Siaem Fisheries, Na Cha-ang, Chumphon
Chumphon Cabana collaborates with small-scale local fishing communities that continue to practice traditional and nature-conscious fishing methods, while also helping restore marine resources through mangrove reforestation and aquatic conservation efforts to maintain the balance of the coastal ecosystem.
We believe that the richness of the sea does not come from harvesting alone, but from protecting, restoring, and passing natural abundance forward for future generations.
The seafood served at Chumphon Cabana Resort is carefully sourced from the local fishing communities we support, then thoughtfully prepared in our restaurant to deliver fresh, clean, and safe ingredients that truly reflect the character of the local sea.
Every meal therefore becomes more than just food — it is part of supporting local communities, preserving traditional ways of life, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of Thailand’s coastal environment.
Good food begins with good ingredients.
At Chumphon Cabana, we value the “source of our ingredients” just as much as the taste of the dishes we serve. We believe that the quality of food is the foundation of good health — not only for our guests, but also for local communities and the environment.
Chumphon remains one of Thailand’s rich agricultural regions, blessed with fertile land, clean water, and fresh air. We therefore work closely with nearby organic farms, support produce grown by our own staff members, and cultivate some ingredients within the resort itself.
This approach not only encourages safer and more environmentally friendly farming practices, but also reduces transportation distances, allowing ingredients to remain fresher while preserving more of their natural nutritional value.
The local ingredients we carefully select are transformed into a wide variety of dishes and beverages — from traditional Southern Thai recipes passed down for more than 40 years, including Shell Chuan Chim award-winning dishes and local desserts, to wellness-focused creations such as herbal drinks, fermented tea, kombucha, cocoa, coffee, and homemade bread.
Every menu reflects our philosophy of simple and natural well-being through food — reconnecting people with nature, local wisdom, and a more sustainable way of living.
For us, food is not simply something to satisfy hunger, but part of a balanced lifestyle and a meaningful way to pass the value of nature on to others every day.
100% Natural Wild Tree Honey
The honey used at Chumphon Cabana is pure wild tree honey sourced from “Uncle Jongkoi,” a local beekeeper who raises bees through simple, nature-based methods closely connected to the surrounding forest.
Bees are among the most important creatures in the ecosystem. They play a vital role in pollinating trees, food crops, and countless plant species, allowing nature to grow, reproduce, and maintain ecological balance.
In many ways, bees are also a natural indicator of environmental health. They cannot thrive in areas heavily contaminated by chemicals, pollution, or degraded ecosystems. The presence of wild bees therefore reflects the richness of the forest, the cleanliness of the air and water, and the biodiversity of the surrounding environment.
At Chumphon Cabana, we choose to use authentic wild honey in our restaurant as part of our beverages, bakery items, and wellness-focused menu creations. Beyond its natural flavor and health benefits, it also represents our support for local communities, small-scale beekeepers, and long-term environmental sustainability.
For us, meaningful ingredients are not only valuable on the plate — they reflect the connection between people, nature, and a way of life built on balance and mutual care.
